HOUSTON, Oct. 29
– Circle Oil PLC said the CGD-11 exploratory well on the Sebou permit in Morocco’s Rharb basin sustained 7 MMscfd of gas on a 30/64-in. choke from the Miocene Hoot zone at 1,078.5-92 m. Calculated net gas pay is 5.9 m.

The Miocene Guebbas gas zone sustained 6.22 MMcfd on a 30/64-in. choke at 905-910 m. Calculated net gas pay is 4.2 m.

A thinner Upper Guebbas gas zone logged with 1 m of net gas pay will be tested later. The well is being completed as a potential producer.

The rig is moving to drill KSR-10, third of the planned five-well drilling program. Then the DRJ-6 well from the previous drilling campaign will be tested and, weather permitting, the KAB-1 well will be reentered for logging or redrilling.
