HOUSTON, Nov. 10
-- Kulczyk Oil Ventures Inc., Calgary, plans to further develop Olgovskoye and Makeyevskoye fields in Ukraine’s Dnieper-Donets basin in 2011.

The company completed the O-7 development well in Olgovskoye field at a flow test of 2.4 MMcfd of gas with more than 50 b/d of condensate from a Lower Bashkirian zone. TD is 2,520 m. Wireline logs indicate more than 150 m of gas pay across 38 reservoir zones. The well will be produced at 1.5 MMcfd and 30 b/d.

Three other wells produce in Olgovskoye field: O-3 from a Lower Muscovian zone, O-4 from Middle Bashkirian sands, and O-5 from an Upper Muscovian horizon.

Kulczyk Oil plans to spud the O-8 well shortly 2.1 km southeast of O-7.

Redeveloping the two fields will involve drilling new wells, completing new zones in existing wells, dual completions, stimulation treatments using modern and technically advanced methods, and adding compression.
