HOUSTON, Oct. 15
– Corridor Resources Inc., Halifax, NS, is preparing to run two propane fracs in the upper part of the Frederick Brook formation at a well 4 km north of Elgin, NB, Canada.

The first frac will be in a black shale interval at 2,000-2,050 m, while the second will be at 1,850-1,900 m in a silty interval with sandstone interbeds.

The vertical Green Road G-41 is 20 km east of the gas plant that serves McCully gas field. The field is averaging a gross 28 MMcscfd of gas.

Encouraging frac results, if obtained, could lead to the drilling of an adjacent horizontal well with multistage fracs in 2010.
