HOUSTON, Dec. 7 – Armstrong Cook Inlet LLC, Denver, let a contract to PGS Onshore Inc., Anchorage, for 20 sq miles of 3D seismic survey 9 miles east of Anchor Point on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula.
The survey is to be conducted in the North Fork Unit including the community of Nikaoleavsk. The area covers 17-20 and 29-32-4s-13w; 13, 14, 21-28, and 33-36-4s-14w; 6-5s-13w; and 1-4, 9-12, and 14-5s-14w.
Explosive charges will be placed at the bottom of holes and detonated one hole at a time. The project will be supported from a camp on the newly constructed North Fork Pad. The off-road portion will take place during the winter 2009-2010 under frozen conditions and completed by breakup.
