HOUSTON, Sept. 2 – Bayside Petroleum Co. Inc. plans to merge with Nueces Valley Resources Inc. later this month. Both are based in Dallas.
NVR owns and manages 100 b/d of oil production in Kansas and South Texas. It has 200 wells at 300-950 ft in Douglas, Franklin, and Miami counties, northeastern Kansas, and 34 wells in Dimmit, Frio, Zavala, and LaSalle counties, Tex.
The Kansas properties are candidates for waterflooding, and some of the Texas wells may be reworked or recompleted.
