Amoco Romania Petroleum Co. has submitted a proposal to the Romanian government for boosting production in 20 gas fields in the Transylvanian basin. Mike Adams, president of Amoco Romania, said, "We hope to begin work later this year to increase the daily gas production rate before the end of the upcoming winter season."
