GTI Industrial Automation B.V. will continue as Yokogawa Industrial Safety Systems (Yokogawa ISS). Yokogawa ISS B.V. is established in Apeldoorn and has sales and service offices in Kuala Lumpur and England.

Yokogawa Electric Corp., Tokyo, Japan, has taken over all shares of GTI Industrial Automation B.V. from n.v. GTI Holding. GTI Industrial Automation B.V. will continue as Yokogawa Industrial Safety Systems (Yokogawa ISS). Yokogawa ISS B.V. is established in Apeldoorn and has sales and service offices in Kuala Lumpur and England.

Yokogawa ISS B.V. has been developing, selling and supplying security systems for processes in the oil, gas, petrochemical and nuclear industry for 35 years. These systems secure processes from calamities and therefore protect people, installations and the environment. They are completely complementary to the Yokogawa systems for the purpose of controlling industrial production processes in particular in the oil and gas industry.

Yokogawa is a manufacturer of a wide range of high-tech measurement and control instruments and control rooms. Yokogawa products are applied in various industries, especially in the oil industry, the chemical industry, the food industry and in electronic laboratories.

Hurricane Compressors and EDO Corp. have consummated the transfer of the business and assets of EDO Corp., ANGI Div. to ANGI International, LLC, a new entity formed by the parties for purposes of acquiring these assets.

ANGI and Hurricane Compressors were both pioneers in the development, manufacturing and sale of natural gas filling stations and components for use in the natural gas vehicle industry. Both companies have been active in the domestic and international markets.

Photon Systems Ltd. has changed its name to CogniSeis Development (Canada), Inc. The name change is associated with its acquisition by CogniSeis Development Inc., Houston.

CogniSeis is a provider of software and data management systems. used by highly trained specialists to identify, develop, and manage petroleum reserves. CogniSeis provides the petroleum industry with extensively used software products including: Focus (seismic processing), SeisX (seismic interpretation), VoxelGeo (volume visualization), and GeoSec (geologic modeling). CogniSeis resells UNIX workstations and personal computers. They also deliver training and consulting services for their products, and are involved in various consortia with industry leaders. CogniSeis is a subsidiary of GeoScience Corp.

Sierra Well Service, Inc., Midland, Tex., a subsidiary of Southwest Royalties, Inc., has finalized the purchase of all of the assets of United Well Service, Odessa. The acquisition consists of four service rigs and all the other assets of the company including two 1981 and one 1982 CCC units with 215,000 pound derricks.

Sierra is actively expanding operations in East and West Texas.

Sproule Associates Ltd., Calgary, opened a U.S. corporate office in Denver, Colo. The U.S. company is Sproule Associates Inc.

Leslie O'Connor, manager of this office, has over 18 years of geological, reservoir engineering and evaluation experience.
