PLANS ADVANCE FOR CHINESE AMMONIA UNIT

Inner Mongolia Chemical Fertiliser Works will use M.W. Kellogg Co.'s reduced energy ammonia synthesis technology in a plant it will build at Huhehot City, Inner Mongolia, China. Kellogg will provide the technology to Toyo Engineering Corp. and Mitsui & Co., contractors for the 330,000 ton/year, oil based plant. Completion is scheduled for 1996.
