BULGARIAN SEISMIC SURVEY UNDER WAY

Halliburton Geophysical Services has begun collecting 2-D seismic data in the Black Sea off Bulgaria in the first speculative survey in eastern Europe. In conjunction with the Bulgarian Committee of Geology and Mineral Resources, the company is acquiring 2,500 line km of data on blocks that will form part of the government's second licensing round later this year. The five blocks on offer, designated VII, VIII, IV X and XI, are virtually unexplored. No drilling has been done. Water depths
