MORE CANADIAN GAS EXPORTS APPROVED

Canada's National Energy Board has approved gas exports by eight firms totaling 277 MMcfd. Receiving approval for exports to the U.S. were AG-Energy LP, 16.5 MMcfd for 15 years 2 months; Canadian Hydrocarbons Marketing Inc., 9.7 MMcfd, 10 years; Canadian-Montana Pipeline Co., 50 MMcfd, 12 years; Husky Oil Operations Ltd., 13 MMcfd, 17 years 3 months; Petro-Canada, 14.4 MMcfd, 17 years 3 months; TransCanada PipeLines Ltd., 98.35 MMcfd, 13 years.

Canada's National Energy Board has approved gas exports by eight firms totaling 277 MMcfd.

Receiving approval for exports to the U.S. were AG-Energy LP, 16.5 MMcfd for 15 years 2 months; Canadian Hydrocarbons Marketing Inc., 9.7 MMcfd, 10 years; Canadian-Montana Pipeline Co., 50 MMcfd, 12 years; Husky Oil Operations Ltd., 13 MMcfd, 17 years 3 months; Petro-Canada, 14.4 MMcfd, 17 years 3 months; TransCanada PipeLines Ltd., 98.35 MMcfd, 13 years.

The approvals included transfer of an export license from Esso Resources Canada Ltd. and Transco Energy Marketing Co. to GasTrade Inc., ANG Resource Marketing Ltd., and 375660 Alberta Ltd., together with Transco. The transferred license covers a maximum 75 MMcfd.
