STATOIL TO EXPAND DANISH REFINERY

Statoil AS plans to expand its Kalundborg, Denmark, refinery and has chosen Ralph M. Parsons Co. Ltd., London, as prime contractor. Capacity will be increased to about 96,000 b/d from 63,000 b/cd at an estimated cost of $344 million. The refinery will be able to process 20,000 b/d of condensate produced from Norwegian North Sea fields. Process units to be added include a condensate fractionator, catalytic reformer, light ends unit, and an isomerization unit. Construction is to begin in first
