Seismic image viewer
Just-CGM, newly released software, gives the Windows/NT user a means of viewing, converting and plotting CGM seismic image files. It also ensures that any valid CGM, CGM+, and CGM-PIP file will be handled correctly, the company says. The product joins this firm's EasyCopy software suite to give users a comprehensive and flexible set of image communication tools.
Just-CGM offers a file format converter module that reads in a valid CGM, CGM+, or CGM-PIP file and outputs to several file types including TIFF, BMP, and JPEG. Special filters handle multiple seismic sections so that seismic data can be converted separately.
The image viewer module makes the rotation, zoom, and redefine functionalities easy, simple and cost-effective, the firm says. Images may be plotted and printed to any device set up for use in Windows using the standard Windows printing. Or, other available drivers offer top-quality plots and improved performance over the standard Windows drivers, allowing the plotting of very large files.
Profiles have also been created to massage the CGM output file to improve the import into the final application.
Converted files can easily be imported into a Windows/NT document or application using the standard Windows clipboard.

Crushing, padding unit for pipeline spreads
The GRUB-3000 self-propelled, radio-control-operated crushing and padding machines are specially designed and manufactured for pipeline construction operations.
Units are recommended to work with crushed stones as well as mixed material, directly on the ground in sizes of up to 16 in. (406 mm). They are equipped with a collector belt that removes the crushed material and conveys it to the rear, onto a second trans-verse conveyor belt that can unload the product, to the right or left hand side of the machine travel direction. This second conveyor belt can be moved in and out to discharge the material, exactly into the center of the trench, for bedding and padding, or out of the trench, as needed.
The transverse conveyor belt can be easily removed for the machine's transportation purposes or to have the material fall to the ground, within the machine's trail.
Units come with a remote control that can easily operate the machines, from start to any working activity.
Production varies from 3,000 to 4,200 cu ft/hr (90-120 cu m/hr) of fine product depending on the nature of the material to be crushed and the conditions of the terrain.
Maximum production expected per lineal meter, in ideal conditions can be 55 cu ft (1.5 cu m). When this maximum production is not required, the travel speed can be increased.
Working speed during operation, can vary continuously at 0-0.4 miles/hr (0-650 meters/hr); maximum travel speed can reach up to 1 mile/hr (1,600 meters/hr), depending on type of terrain and material specifications.

New high-pressure nitrogen membrane module
A new membrane module-the Generon 7200HP-is tailored for applications where high-pressure nitrogen delivery is required (greater than 300 psi, or 20.7 bar).
The unit is suited for applications such as offshore rigs and well drilling/ completion operations.
At 350 psi, the unit produces from 70 scfm at 99% purity to 178 scfm at 95% purity.
Nitrogen is generated on site, at any location, continuously and reliably, the company reports.
All the user need supply is a source of compressed air.
Patented membrane technology, which filters out oxygen from a stream of compressed, dry air via hollow polymeric fibers, each of which is thinner than a human hair, produces gaseous nitrogen. The purity of the gaseous nitrogen produced is adjustable at 95-99%.
