Trio Petroleum names Peterson as CEO

Trio Petroleum Corp. Bakersfield, Calif., has appointed Michael L. Peterson as the new chief executive officer, effective Oct. 23, 2023, replacing Frank C. Ingriselli who will be resigning, effective as of the same date.

Peterson is currently a member of the company’s board of directors, serving as the chairman of the audit committee and the compensation committee, and the company’s special acquisitions committee.

Ingriselli will assume the role of vice-chairman and will enter into a consulting engagement to support the chief executive transition through December 2023.

Trio Petroleum is an oil and gas exploration and development company with operations in Monterey County, Calif.
