Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Sempra, Houston, has appointed Tania Ortiz Mena as president.
Ortiz Mena will lead the company's three business lines – LNG and net zero solutions, clean power, and energy networks.
From 2021 to 2023, Ortiz Mena was group president for Clean Power and Energy Networks at Sempra Infrastructure. Before taking this role, she was IEnova’s chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors. She began her career at the Sempra family of companies in 2000, holding different positions, including vice-president of external affairs and development and chief development officer.
From 1994 to 1999, Ortiz Mena worked as commercial manager for refined products of PEMEX international subsidiary, PMI.
