Gazprom unit names director general

Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a Gazprom subsidiary, has named Valery Guryanov as director general.
The Gazprom unit is focused on developing fields offshore Sakhalin Island within the Sakhalin-3 project.
Gazprom owns licenses for three blocks within the project: Kirinsky, Ayashsky, and Vostochno-Odoptinsky. The Kirinsky block comprises Kirinskoye field together with Yuzhno-Kirinskoye, Yuzhno-Lunskoye, and Mynginskoye fields discovered by Gazprom. Gas from the Sakhalin III project forms the main resource base for the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas transmission system.
