Gaz de France has new president

Gaz de France announces the appointment of Jean-François Cirelli as President of Gaz de France.

HOUSTON, Oct. 5 -- Gaz de France announces the appointment of Jean-François Cirelli as president of Gaz de France.

Cirelli was assistant private secretary to Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and, previously, involved in a number of posts as economic, industrial and social adviser to the French President Jacques Chirac. He replaces Pierre Gadonneix who is appointed president of Electricité de France.
