Senior El Paso Canada management to join Canadian Superior

HOUSTON, June 15 -- Canadian Superior Energy Inc., Calgary, announces several senior El Paso Canada management personnel to join the company's management team. Each of these individuals will be joining Canadian Superior by July 15 upon completion of their duties associated with the sale and transition of El Paso Oil and Gas Canada Inc.'s western Canadian assets to BG Group PLC.

Harvey R. Klingensmith will be joining Canadian Superior as chief operating officer; David Purcell as chief financial officer; Mel Marshall as vice-president, exploration; and Tony Sartorelli as senior geophysicist.

Klingensmith also will be nominated to become a director of Canadian Superior at the company's annual general meeting. Klingensmith has been president of El Paso Oil and Gas Canada since 2002.
