Harvest elects executive vice-president and chief operating officer

Houston-based Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. announced James A. Edmiston as executive vice-president and chief operating officer.

HOUSTON, Sept. 17 -- Houston-based Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. announced James A. Edmiston as executive vice-president and chief operating officer.

Prior to joining Harvest, Edmiston was with Conoco and ConocoPhillips for 22 years in various management positions. Since 2002, Edmiston has been president, Dubai Petroleum Co., a ConocoPhillips affiliate company in the United Arab Emirates.
