Larry Detjen to lead Ashland Inc. global ERP Project

Ashland Inc., Covington, Ky., named Larry L. Detjen a vice-president in charge of software implementation for global enterprise resource planning for three wholly owned divisions of Ashland.

HOUSTON, Jan. 16 -- Ashland Inc., Covington, Ky., named Larry L. Detjen a vice-president in charge of software implementation for global enterprise resource planning for three wholly owned divisions of Ashland.

The companies are Ashland Distribution Co., Ashland Specialty Chemical Co., and Valvoline Co. The software implementation project will occur in phases during the next several years.

Detjen instituted similar programs in Ashland's Valvoline division.
