Texen Oil and Gas names president and CEO

Houston-based Texen Oil and Gas, Inc. has named Michael Sims as president and CEO. Sims has been involved with Texen Oil and Gas in various capacities since its inception, most recently as vice-president.

HOUSTON, Aug. 16 -- Houston-based Texen Oil and Gas, Inc. has named Michael Sims as president and CEO. Sims has been involved with Texen Oil and Gas in various capacities since its inception, most recently as vice-president.

Sims will succeed Tatiana Golovina who will resign from the position, but remains the largest individual shareholder of the company and will continue to be involved with the company's activities and assist in growing the company.
