Summers appointed Caspian Energy president

HOUSTON, Apr. 11 -- Caspian Energy Inc., Toronto, has appointed Charles J. Summers, the company's chief operating officer, to the additional post of president.

William A. G. Ramsay, who has resigned as president, will continue as chief executive officer and chairman of the company.

Caspian Energy operates oil and gas exploration and development properties in Kazakhstan.
