Bowyer to head ADNOC's E&P operations

HOUSTON, July 19 -- Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. has appointed Steve Bowyer head of upstream exploration and production, effective July 23.

Bowyer, who will manage the company's E&P assets worldwide, is a seasoned reservoir engineer and has served in deputy OIM and asset manager roles with Petroleum Engineering Services, J.P. Kenny Caledonia, J. Ray McDermott, and Talisman Energy UK.

Bowyer's appointment is related to the company's near-term plans to establish proved reserves of 1 billion boe and production of 100,000 boe/d.
