Huber Energy names Schofield president

Ralph W. Schofield, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Huber Energy, has been named president.

HOUSTON, July 19 -- Ralph W. Schofield, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Huber Energy, has been named president. He will be based in Huber's Houston office.

Schofield will be responsible for all aspects of exploration, development, and production, as well as for evaluating strategic growth opportunities for the company.

In addition to his experience in the North American oil and gas sector, Schofield has experience in the US coalbed methane business.

He previously has served as chief operating officer of Welldog Inc., president of EM-Tech Energy, and vice-president of US exploration and production for Amerada Hess Corp.
