Mandelker joins Zion Oil & Gas

HOUSTON, June 8 -- Philip Mandelker, general counsel of Zion Oil & Gas Inc., since April 2000 and a director since 2001, has been appointed executive vice-president.

Mandelker was involved in a recent initial public offering of Zion, a Dallas company that operates an onshore oil and gas exploration concession in Israel.
