Ibbitson to manage Americas Petrogas operations

HOUSTON, Aug. 25 -- Americas Petrogas Inc., Calgary, has appointed William C. Ibbitson as operations manager for its Argentina oil and gas assets.

With more than 35 years of experience, Ibbitson has worked with Nexen, Rio Alto, Chauvco, in Latin America and in other countries. Americas Petrogas holds more than 1.8 million acres in the Neuquen basin.
