Law to aid Exxel Energy on Washington play

HOUSTON, Feb. 8 -- Exxel Energy Corp., Vancouver, BC, named Ben E. Law to its advisory board to assist the company with operations in the Columbia River basin in Washington.

Law is a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Geological Survey and has published extensively on basin-centered gas accumulations.

Exxel Energy announced in November 2005 that it had acquired 100% working interest in oil and gas mineral rights on more than 52,000 acres of state lands in central Washington to evaluate the basin-centered gas potential.
