HOUSTON, May 30 -- Bill Wageneck has been promoted to vice-president/group publisher of Oil & Gas Journal and Oil & Gas Journal Online in PennWell Corp.'s Petroleum Group. He succeeds Tim Tobeck, who left the organization.
Waganeck had been a regional sales manager. He first worked at OGJ as a salesman in 1973-88. He left to become regional sales manager of the Aviation Week & Space Technology Group of McGraw Hill and 2 years later opened an independent advertising representative and consulting firm. He rejoined OGJ in 2004.
