HOUSTON, May 10 -- BP PLC has put BP Netherlands exploration and production and gas infrastructure up for sale, saying it expects to complete the sale by yearend.

The assets, onshore and offshore, had net gas production of 62 MMcfd in 2005. This includes the mature Rijn oil field, production from which has been suspended. BP also is looking for a buyer for its Piek Gas Installatie gas supply plant near Alkmaar.

The sale will not involve BP's refining and marketing operations in the Netherlands, which the company plans to keep.
