Brooks Range names vice-president of land

HOUSTON, Sept. 8 -- Brooks Range Petroleum Corp., a subsidiary of Alaska Venture Capital Group LLC, has appointed Jim Winegarner vice-president of land and external affairs. He will also serve on the management team.

Prior to his appointment, Winegarner, with more than 25 years in the oil and industry, worked for ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc.
