HOUSTON, Sept. 5 -- Index Oil & Gas Inc., Houston, has appointed John G. Williams executive vice-president, exploration and production. He will be based in Houston.
Williams has worked basins in over 25 countries and has managed exploration programs in Alaska, the UK, Indonesia, and Venezuela.
Williams has 31 years of exploration and business development experience, including with Exxon, Conoco, and ConocoPhillips. He has served as manager of exploration geoscience and global chief geophysicist for ConocoPhillips and as general manager of exploration (Aberdeen) for Conoco.
