PARIS, Feb. 6 -- ExxonMobil France Holding SAS has announced it intends to sell its 50% stake in Societe de la Raffinerie de Dunkerque (SDR) to the road-building construction firm Societe Colas.

SDR specializes in the refining of bitumen and base oils. Its other stakeholders are Total 40% and BP 10%. SDR was a former BP refinery that Exxon with Mobil took over.

Catherine Brun, spokeswoman for Societe du groupe ExxonMobil in France, said the projected transaction does not concern the other industrial activities of the group in France.

ExxonMobil also manufactures bitumen and oils at its Port Jerome Gravenchon refinery in Normandy.
