Bonanza appoints key E&P executives

Bonanza Oil & Gas Inc. has appointed Preston Croft as chief of field operations, Kurt Mire as chief engineer, and Don Reynolds as chief geologist.

-- Bonanza Oil & Gas Inc. has appointed Preston Croft as chief of field operations, Kurt Mire as chief engineer, and Don Reynolds as chief geologist.

Croft, founder and owner of Croft Production Systems, has more than 30 years of experience in all facets of oil and gas exploration and production, including related service industries.

Mire is a senior reservoir and production engineer with more than 26 years experience in exploration and production. He has worked for major and independent oil companies and Tier I consulting firms such as Ryder Scott Co. and Netherland Sewell & Associates.

Reynolds has more than 25 years of experience as a geologist and most recently with Smith Petroleum Co. At Smith, Don assumed responsibility for the administrative, operational, financial, and legal activities in addition to researching and evaluating drilling prospects.
