Cabot Oil & Gas appoints vice-presidents

HOUSTON, July 28 -- Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. appointed two new vice-presidents. Matt Reid will serve as vice-president, south regional manager. Phil Stalnaker will serve as vice-president, north regional manager. Both north and south regions are newly created.

Reid rejoined Cabot in April 2001 as regional operations manager after a career with Broughton Operating Corp., Energy Development Corp., and Total Minatome Corp. He became Gulf Coast regional manager in March 2006.

Stalnaker joined Cabot in its Denver regional office as a reservoir engineer in January 2000 and was promoted to manager, engineering, in October 2001. He became the west regional manager in March 2006.
