Kruger named president of ExxonMobil Production

R.M. Kruger has been appointed president of ExxonMobil Production Co. (EMPC) and as a vice-president of ExxonMobil Corp. effective Apr. 1.

HOUSTON, Feb. 29 -- R.M. Kruger has been appointed president of ExxonMobil Production Co. (EMPC) and as a vice-president of ExxonMobil Corp. effective Apr. 1. Kruger will succeed M.E. Foster, who will retire on Mar. 31.

Kruger began his career with Exxon Co. USA in 1981 and has held various engineering, business planning, and management assignments. Kruger was previously chairman and chief executive officer of ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Malaysia and vice-president for EMPC, Asia Pacific and Middle East. In 2005 Kruger became vice-president for EMPC, United States, and in 2006 Kruger was appointed executive vice-president of EMPC.

Foster joined Exxon Co. USA in 1965 as an engineer in the production department. During his career, he held a number of domestic and international management assignments. He was appointed president of EMPC in October 2004.
