Westport appoints Peter Mueller to direct its northern division

Westport Resources Corp., Denver, appointed Peter M. Mueller as vice-president and general manager of the company's northern division, effective June 9.

HOUSTON, May 27 -- Westport Resources Corp., Denver, appointed Peter M. Mueller as vice-president and general manager of the company's northern division, effective June 9.

Mueller, who has 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry, will manage Westport's operations in Wyoming and North Dakota, which include the Williston, Powder River, Big Horn, Wind River and Green River basins.
