Vanco Energy Co. hired Steve Thornton as manger of international affiliates

Steve Thornton joins Vanco Energy Co., Houston, as its international affiliates manager and Ivory Coast asset manager.

HOUSTON, May 1 -- Steve Thornton joins Vanco Energy Co., Houston, as its international affiliates manager and Ivory Coast asset manager.

He will direct Vanco's exploration program off the Ivory Coast. Thornton has nearly 30 years' experience in oil and gas exploration, development, and production.
