Canadian Energy Pipeline Association names Ron Turner as its chair

The Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) announced its new chairman is Ron Turner, TransCanada PipeLines Ltd. executive vice-president of gas transmission.

HOUSTON, May 12 -- The Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA)
announced its new chairman is Ron Turner, TransCanada PipeLines Ltd. executive vice-president of gas transmission.

He takes over as the Calgary-based CEPA chair from Richard Bird, Enbridge Inc. transportation north group vice-president.

CEPA member companies transport more than 95% of the crude oil and natural gas produced in Canada.
