Houston Exploration names vice-president, exploration

The Houston Exploration Co. has named Tim R. Lindsey to the company's new position of vice-president, exploration, responsible for assessing the company's exploration programs and evaluating new US regions.

HOUSTON, Oct. 3 -- The Houston Exploration Co. has named Tim R. Lindsey to the company's new position of vice-president, exploration, responsible for assessing the company's exploration programs and evaluating new US regions.

Lindsey worked for more than 27 years in various capacities at Marathon Oil Co., including senior management roles in both US and international exploration and business development.
