Marathon Oil announces new chief financial officer

Marathon Oil Corp., Houston, hired Janet F. Clark as its senior vice-president and chief financial officer. She succeeds John T. Mills, who retired Dec. 1.

HOUSTON, Dec. 4 -- Marathon Oil Corp., Houston, hired Janet F. Clark as its senior vice-president and chief financial officer. She succeeds John T. Mills, who retired Dec. 1.

Clark was senior vice-president and chief financial officer of Nuevo Energy Co., Houston. She joined Nuevo in 2001.
