Barry joins Duke Energy as vice president, mergers and acquisitions

HOUSTON, July 19 -- Paul H. Barry has joined Duke Energy Corp., Charlotte, NC, as vice-president, mergers and acquisitions. For the last 3 years, Barry has served as vice-president at GE Capital Services Structured Finance Group.

Prior to that, he spent 3 years at CBS Corp. (formerly Westinghouse Electric Corp.) as director, corporate finance. He also worked for 5 years at BP PLC predecessor Amoco Corp., working the last few years there as director, acquisitions and divestitures.
