The June contract for benchmark US sweet, light crudes fell another 33¢ to settle at $46.92/bbl after trading at $46.80-48/bbl May 19 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The July contract lost 39¢ to $48.74/bbl.

HOUSTON, May 20 -- The June contract for benchmark US sweet, light crudes fell another 33¢ to settle at $46.92/bbl after trading at $46.80-48/bbl May 19 on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The July contract lost 39¢ to $48.74/bbl.

On the US spot market, West Texas Intermediate at Cushing, Okla., fell by 33¢ to $46.93/bbl.

Gasoline for June delivery gained 2.2¢ to $1.4364/gal on NYMEX. Heating oil for the same month was up by 2.23¢ to $1.3805/gal. The June natural gas contract lost 3.5¢ to $6.35/MMbtu.

In London, the July contract for North Sea Brent crude fell by 27¢ to $47.88/bbl on the International Petroleum Exchange.

The average price for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries' basket of seven benchmark crudes lost 46¢ to $44.65/bbl on May 19.
