HOUSTON, Oct. 11 -- The Newfoundland Ocean Industries Association has appointed Michele English as its president and chief executive officer.

Over the last 7 years, English has worked with Persona Communications Corp. in a number of roles, most recently as vice-president and general manager.

An item posted earlier on OGJ Online incorrectly identified the organization as National Ocean Industries Association.
