Flint buys Mackenzie Valley Construction share

Flint Energy Services Ltd., Calgary, has taken a 49% share in Mackenzie Valley Construction Ltd., a subsidiary of Gwich'in Development Corp., Inuvik, NWT, an aboriginal-owned development corporation in the Mackenzie Valley.

HOUSTON, Nov. 29 -- Flint Energy Services Ltd., Calgary, has taken a 49% share in Mackenzie Valley Construction Ltd., a subsidiary of Gwich'in Development Corp., Inuvik, NWT, an aboriginal-owned development corporation in the Mackenzie Valley.

Gwitch'in holds the remaining 51% interest in the company, which specializes in road and highway construction and maintenance and provides general oil field services in the western Arctic.

The company's operations will be integrated with Flint's production services business unit, Flint said.
