SIPES elects 2006 officers

The Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES) has installed independent petroleum geologist and president of Milagro Resources in Midland, Tex., David A. Eyler, president for 2005-06.

HOUSTON, Nov. 22 -- The Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES) has installed independent petroleum geologist and president of Milagro Resources in Midland, Tex., David A. Eyler, president for 2005-06.

Raymond N. Blackhall of Houston was elected SIPES vice-president, and Michael N. Austin of Broomfield, Colo. was elected SIPES vice-president of natural resources.

James K. Applegate of Lafayette, La., was elected SIPES secretary, and E. Bernard Brauer of Corpus Christi, Tex., was elected SIPES treasurer.
