Patina Oil & Gas Corp. announced that its president, Jay W. Decker, stepped down as an officer and a director.

HOUSTON, Jan. 10 -- Patina Oil & Gas Corp. announced that its president, Jay W. Decker, stepped down as an officer and a director. Decker will serve as a consultant to the company until ninety days following the merger with Noble Energy.

Thomas J. Edelman, the company's chairman and CEO will assume the additional title of president.
