Vår Energi has let contracts to Baker Hughes for exploration logging, well intervention technology, and subsea production systems for operations in the North Sea.
The first contract, a 9-year engagement for well intervention services, will also see Baker Hughes supply all exploration logging solutions to help Vår Energi further develop prospects in the Norwegian Continental Shelf, the service provider said.
The second contract, a 15-year agreement, is for delivery of a bespoke Balder field vertical tree system. The contract includes support for existing Balder legacy wells and any future developments in the Balder area.
