Dana Petroleum received a new license as operator in Blocks 42/27, 47/2b and 47/3g in the Southern North Sea, next to the Tolmount Development area, as part of the UK’s 32nd Offshore Licensing Round.
Dana Petroleum received a new license as operator in Blocks 42/27, 47/2b and 47/3g in the Southern North Sea, next to the Tolmount Development area, as part of the UK’s 32nd Offshore Licensing Round. Dana has also been awarded Blocks 42/28e and 42/29b east of Tolmount and recently acquired the F03c operated exploration block in the Netherlands North Sea, which includes the Bokje prospect.
Dana is a 50% partner along with operator Premier Oil in the Tolmount Southern North Sea gas project. Dana and Kellas Midstream Ltd. have formed a 50-50 infrastructure joint venture which will finance the platform and pipeline (known as the Humber Gathering System) and modifications to Centrica’s Easington terminal to which gas will be exported. The JV will be paid a tariff for transportation of Tolmount gas.
Dana is operator in Blocks 42/27, 47/2b and 47/3g (50%) with partner Premier Oil (50%). Premier is operator at Blocks 42/28e and 42/29b (50%) with Dana (50%).
