Petrobras has begun the non-binding phase of sale in its 35% interest in Manati gas-condensate field off Bahia state in the Camamu basin.

Petrobras has begun the non-binding phase of sale in its 35% interest in Manati gas-condensate field off Bahia state in the Camamu basin. Potential qualified buyers receive a descriptive memorandum containing detailed information on the asset, instructions on the disinvestment process, and guidelines for preparation and submission of non-binding proposals.

Manati lies 10 km from the coast of the city of Cairú/BA, in water depths of 35-50 m. In operation since 2007, 2009 average production was 105 b/d condensate and 1,269 thousand cu m/day gas from six producing wells through the PMNT-1 fixed platform (OGJ Online, Jan. 22, 2007).

Petrobras is operator with 35%. Partners are Enauta Participações (45%), Geopark Brasil E&P de Petróleo e Gás Ltda. (10%), and Brasoil Manati Exploração Petrolífera Ltda. (10%).
