Equinor chooses suppliers for Norwegian continental shelf, onshore Norway work
Equinor has chosen suppliers for various work to be performed on the operator’s assets on the Norwegian continental shelf and onshore Norway.
The company signed a frame agreement with Ardyne, Aberdeen, for fishing services covering all of its assets on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The agreement is for 3 years with five further options to extend over 2-year periods. Ardyne will provide a range of services for wells linked to the Statfjord A platform in the Norwegian North Sea (OGJ Online, May 2, 2019). The work will include cut, pull, jack, and milling activities. A value was not disclosed.
Equinor also has chosen suppliers for inspection services on all offshore installations on the Norwegian continental shelf and onshore plants in Norway. Frame agreements are scheduled to be signed shortly, the company said. The agreements will take effect Jan. 1, 2020 and have a fixed duration of 6 years plus two 4-year options.
Aker Solutions AS will conduct work on Statfjord (A, B, C), Martin Linge, Oseberg field center, Oseberg (South, East, C), Asgard (A, B, C), Kristin, Heidrun (TLP, B), Njord (A, B), and Mongstad.
Axess AS will conduct work on Gullfaks (A, B, C), Troll (A, B, C), Kvitebjørn, Visund, Grane, and Valemon.
IKM Operations AS will conduct work on Snorre (A, B), Sleipner, Gudrun, Gina Krog, Draupner, Johan Sverdrup, and Tjeldbergodden.
Oceaneering Asset Integrity AS will conduct work on Karstø, Sture, Kollsnes, Hammerfest LNG, Norne, Aasta Hansteen, and Johan Castberg.
The total value of the inspection services awards, including options, is estimated at 3.5 billion kroner.
