Vista Energy SAB de CV has announced successful results for its AM-1011h and AM-1012h wells in the AM-1 platform within Águila Mora block in the northern region of Neuquén province.

AM-1011h, situated in the La Cocina level of the Vaca Muerta formation reached peak production of 2,107 boe/d. With a lateral length of 2,548 m and 44 completion stages, this well has consistently demonstrated solid performance and significantly contributed to the company's hydrocarbon reserves.

Likewise, AM-1012h, drilled to the Middle Carbonate level, attained peak production of 1,699 boe/d. Featuring a lateral length of 2,468 m and 43 completion stages, this well has also exhibited promising production potential.

Current productivity of both wells is constrained by gas evacuation capacity limitations. Consequently, cumulative production of AM-1011h during the initial 60-day period reached 79,700 boe), while AM-1012h recorded cumulative production of 70,200 boe , both figures normalized based on completion stages. Average oil content in both wells was 71% of total hydrocarbons.

These results have enabled the company to estimate an inventory of up to 100 ready-to-drill wells in Águila Mora block. The company stated, "This represents a significant growth opportunity and contributes to the consolidation of Vista's operations within the region." Its statement to the New York and Mexico Stock Exchanges said the results "have enhanced production potential in the region and established a strong foundation for the company's future growth."

Vista Energy also has achieved progress in Bajada del Palo Este block. The BPE-2202h well in La Cocina has exceeded expectations with an IP-30 production of 3,101 boe/d and peak production of 3,427 boe/d. With a lateral length of 2,272 m and 47 completion stages, this well has consistently demonstrated high oil content, 96% of total hydrocarbons. Cumulative production during its initial 80-day period was 179,900 boe on a normalized basis.

These results have substantiated Vista Energy's confirmation to add as many as 150 ready-to-drill wells in Bajada del Palo Este block.

Combined, the advancements have extended Vista Energy’s well inventory to the neighboring Coirón Amargo Norte region. Based on a validated geological model, the company estimates an inventory of up to 50 ready-to-drill wells there.

The activities in Bajada del Palo Este and the test wells in Águila Mora have added 300 wells to Vista Energy's inventory, bringing its total count to 1,150 across Bajada del Palo Oeste, Aguada Federal, Bajada del Palo Este, Águila Mora, Bandurria Norte, and Coirón Amargo Norte blocks.
